On a lovely crisp and sunny day last December Andy met up with Claire and Gary for a wee engagement shoot in the West End of Glasgow. Claire and Gary then married a couple of weeks later in the lovely Glenbervie House Hotel (more of that coming later!)

It is great when clients take the time to give lovely feedback, here is what Steve (see post below) had to say…

” We both couldn’t have wished for better weather for that time of year. And it must be said Andrew and Emmet made us all feel comfortable during the taking of the photographs.

We had planned a pretty informal day and your portraiture package fitted into our expectations exactly as we envisaged. All the comments from family and friends who were there certainly backed up how we felt.

We can’t wait to see the finished album, the photo’s are fantastic. Its been pretty hard to pick thirty for the album. :-)

Many thanks

Steve ”

Late last year in response to the current financial situation, which has made us more than aware that the budgets of couples trying to organise their weddings are being stretched more than ever, we introduced our mid week wedding portraiture package. This package is designed for those who have a tight budget to work with, are having very small weddings or are just a bit camera shy and don’t want to spend a long time in front of the camera!

The  package is essentially a portraiture package for the bride & groom but is also flexible and can be adapted to each couples individual requirements.

To find out more about this package please click here.

To give you a taste of what the package involves here is the portraiture of Lynne & Steve who had a small family wedding last year at Glasgow’s Park Circus Marrage suites.

Taking a wee departure from weddings for just a moment, I thought I would show you some of Andrew’s other work. Working with Westside Distribution, a company who distribute musical instruments and electronic paraphernalia, to the music industry, Andrew has had the pleasure of photographic some fantastic singers and musicians.

Here are a few photographs from some of the jobs he shot over the last year…

From rock band Elbow, Mark Potter and Pete Turner…

…and to top it all, a lovely comment from Aisha!

It was our honour to photograph Aisha & Andrew’s wedding last summer (see blog post below) so to receive a such lovely comment from Aisha when we blogged a sneak peak o so long ago was a real delight, here is what she had to say…

” The photos look amazing so far and I just cannot wait to see the rest. Andrew and Emmett were brilliant on the day, very professional but also friendly and down-to -earth. They are extremely patient, made me feel at ease, and displayed great determination to perform an excellent job, despite the mishap which caused tears and despair but finally jubilation! Andrew and Emmett dealt with the difficulties very gracefully on the day and I am certain that the way they captured the story as it unfolded will result in a cherished album which truly reflects all the love and emotion (whether despair or jubilation!) that we felt on our big day! I will certainly be recommending Andrew & Emmett in the future.

The Wedding Photography of…Aisha & Andrew, Trossachs Kirk.

Late in the summer of 2012 Aisha and Andrew were married at the beautiful Trossachs Kirk on the banks of loch Achray. Though the wedding was small and intimate it was not with out it’s drama. Due to a forgotten wedding certificate the ceremony almost didn’t happen! Fortunately a speedy member of staff from their reception venue,  MacDonalds Forest Hills Hotel, dashed the certificate to the Kirk just in the nick of time. And we were delighted as Aisha and Andrew are an absolutely lovely couple and a joy to work with.

Aisha and Andrew chose our mid week wedding portraiture package but opting to extend it to also cover their ceremony and some group shots with their guests as well….

Kerry & Ross’s West End of Glasgow Engagement Shoot.

Late last summer Andrew met up with Kerry & Ross who are getting married later on this year up in Pitlochry. It was a lovely sunny afternoon and they chose Kelvingrove park in Glasgow’s West End to have their engagement shoot, which comes as an option in all of our packages.

Feeling a bit nervous at first Kerry and Ross soon relaxed in front of the camera to get some really beautiful images. Unfortunately we couldn’t get any photographs of that all important engagement ring, it was in the jewelers!

The Wedding Photography of…Sophie & Adam, Ross Priory, Loch Lomond.

Yesterday I posted Sophie & Adam’s completed wedding album and promised to show a full post of their wedding.

Well, here it is and my goodness last summer seemed like a long time ago! Looking forward to the year ahead it is always good to reflect on the previous years weddings and I love to look back at the photographs Andrew and Emmett have taken. I think that Sophie and Adam’s wedding celebrated at Ross Priory on Loch Lomond side has to be amongst the favourites. A fantastic couple they approached their day with good humour and a laid back sense of fun which is really reflected in the photographs.

Keeping the wedding small and intimate with only 30 guests Sophie and Adam kept things simple with the photography as well, choosing shorter coverage from their ceremony until just before their meal allowing them to enjoy the rest of the day with their friends and Family.
