Jasmine & Pardeep's Vibrant West End of Glasgow Wedding
Cottiers Wedding Photography – For a lot of my weddings I am out and about, travelling all over the highlands of Scotland, which is amazing, but when I am asked to cover a wedding in my home town of Glasgow I am always delighted.
Being Scotland’s biggest city Glasgow always has a buzz about it and it is a great city to have a party, weddings being no exception. It was a real honour and a pleasure to photograph Jasmine and Pardeep’s August wedding at the popular Glasgow venue of Cottiers Theatre and Bar. Located in the heart of Glasgow’s leafy West End, Cottiers is a venue full of charm, with its stained-glass windows, ornate stonework, and outdoor space it is perfect for a relaxed and chilled but magical wedding day.
The Wedding Day
I began photographic coverage with Jasmine and her bridesmaids as they were completing their final preparations, I thoroughly enjoy this part of the day as you can really feel the anticipation and the excitement for the day ahead. Along with my trusted second shooter, Emmett, I continued to capture Jasmine and Pardeep’s wedding day right through the beautiful ceremony and up until the evening party was well underway. Most of the coverage was centred around Cottiers but Jasmine, Pardeep and I snuck away for a short while to make the most of the iconic Cloisters at Glasgow University for some wedding photographs, and for the newly married couple to enjoy some quiet time alone before the party began.
Jasmine, Pardeep and all their family were so lovely and amazing to work with, it was such a fun day and a great time was had by all!
