Winter Couples Photoshoot at Dramatic Steall Falls
If you’re going to head out for a couple’s shoot in mid-winter, you just have to lean into the weather and enjoy the atmosphere. For Sarah and Kyle, Glen Nevis delivered a classic Scottish winter day. Moody skies and snow-dusted mountains provided a dramatic backdrop for their Glen Nevis adventure shoot.
Our main focus for the session was the walk out to Steall Falls. It’s an breath-taking location, and walking through the gorge in February gives the whole place a real sense of scale and drama.
Once we opened out into the valley under the falls, the view was spectacular. Even with a bite in the winter air, Sarah and Kyle were totally relaxed in front of the lens, taking in the scenery and enjoying the day. It was my first time shooting at this location and I would most definitely love to come back again, it was beyond beautiful!
