Chelsea & Will's laid back Argyll and Bute wedding

If you’re going to plan an Argyll and Bute wedding, hoping for good weather is always a bit of a gamble. But for Chelsea and Will, the area delivered in spades. A bright, sun-drenched day on the coast made for a brilliant backdrop to their celebrations.
The day kicked off with a traditional service at St Brendan’s Church in Skipness. It’s a quiet, rustic spot, and the ceremony was warm and intimate. Following the service, the three of us headed off to explore Skipness Castle and the nearby beach for some relaxed wedding portraits. With the sun beating down and the water looking ridiculously clear, it felt more like the Mediterranean than the West Coast.Â
The party then moved up the road to Balinakill Country House for the reception. It’s a brilliant venue—completely centred around good hospitality and letting guests feel right at home. The rest of the afternoon was spent out on the grounds in the sunshine, capturing candid shots of friends and family catching up. I finished up coverage with the evening dancing and left Chelsea and Will to finish celebrating with their nearest and dearest.
