A Sun-Kissed Spring Wedding at The Byre at Inchyra
Some weddings just have a naturally easy going feel, and Amandine and Axel’s Byre at Inchyra Wedding was exactly that. Held on a warm, sunny day in early May, it was a perfect mix of relaxed moments, beautiful surroundings, and a great group of people coming together to celebrate.
They chose full-day photography coverage, so we were there from the final morning prep right through to the evening party. The Byre at Inchyra is a dream for this kind of storytelling photography—it has a bit of everything, from cosy indoor spaces to wide-open fields and woodlands, making it ideal for capturing the day as it unfolded.
Their ceremony took place outdoors in the venue’s gorgeous grounds, surrounded by tall trees, rustic stone walls, and fresh spring greenery. With the sun shining and a gentle breeze in the air, it was one of those effortlessly beautiful moments that didn’t need anything extra.
After the ceremony, we explored the surrounding area for portraits, making the most of The Byre’s beautiful gardens.
As the night rolled in, everyone moved inside the barn, where Gabrielle from French Wedding in Scotland had done an amazing job making sure everything ran smoothly. The space was warm and welcoming, and as soon as the music started, the dance floor filled up. It was the perfect way to end a brilliant day—good food, great company, and plenty of laughter.
