A Spring-time Post-Wedding Wedding Shoot in Glencoe

If you’re going to pick a time of day for a shoot in Glencoe, late afternoon into early evening is hard to beat. Mary-Cruz and Daryl met me in the glen for a post-wedding session, and the spring sunshine made the whole place look incredible for their Glencoe elopement style shoot.
We kicked things off down along the Glen Etive road, using the river and the steep glen walls to frame the first set of portraits. The light was bright and sharp to start, but as we worked our way back up toward Glencoe, the atmosphere turned amazingly soft.Â
To finish up, we pulled off near the Clachaig Inn to explore the woodland path running beside the river. The contrast between the open ridges and the quiet shelter of the forest with the low late afternoon light filtering through was fantastic. It’s safe to say this was another amazing session in one of my favourite spots.
