Leanne & Alistair's Buachaille Etive Mòr Handfasting

March weather in the Highlands can go either way, but for Leanne and Alistair’s beautiful Glencoe elopement, we got an amazing clear, bright day from start to finish.
We met down in Glen Etive first for a few pre-wedding photos before the ceremony. It gave us a chance to get some relaxed shots before heading up to the main ceremony location. The ceremony itself was a traditional celtic handfasting held right under the impressive Buachaille Etive Mòr, where I signed as one of the witnesses.
After they made things official, the three of us spent the rest of the afternoon moving around the local area for some post-wedding portraits. We kept the pace casual, taking advantage of the sunshine and the open views across the glen. I finished up coverage late in the afternoon and left them to enjoy the rest of their day.
