A Winter Wedding in Remote and Beautiful Sutherland, Scottish Highlands
Highlands of Scotland Wedding – The remote and beautiful Croick Church is located around one hour thirty minutes from Inverness. Set deep in the stunning Scottish Highlands, this place made an amazing location for a small and intimate wedding.
In early December last year, Lynda and Shaun, along with their closest family held their wedding at this small and atmospheric church in Sutherland, a place with a prominent role during the Highland Clearances of 1845. This time the church was witness to a much happier event as the wedding couple exchanged their vows.We loved Lynda’s vintage dress with its gorgeous long vale, both she and Shaun looked fantastic. We began our coverage at the Manse for the Church, now self catering accommodation, during the wedding preparations. Photographic documentation of the day continues until after the ceremony where we took advantage of the gorgeous surrounding Scottish countryside for some natural wedding portraits.
We said goodbye to Lynda, Shaun and their family just as the winter dusk was beginning to draw in. We then began the drive back to Glasgow delighted that we had had the honour of photographing another incredible wedding.
