A Lodge on Loch Goil Treehouse Wedding in the Snow, Scottish Highlands
What a wedding this was! I was beginning to wonder if I should have bought those snow chains after all, haha! It was such a privilege to photographs Máire and Donalds’ winter elopement wedding held at the stunning Lodge on Loch Goil this January. Máire and Donald had the whole lodge to themselves, and their wedding was very special as the ceremony was held in the lodges’ iconic treehouse on the banks of the breath-taking Loch Goil. The staff at the lodge (who opened the place especially for Máire and Donald) were amazing as they stood in as witnesses and made this day a memorable one.
Many wedding photographers will agree that the Lodge at Loch Goil is at the top of the list of favourite venues. To get to photograph an elopement wedding, in the snow, with fairy lights on the treehouse just take the experience to the next level!
