Aliyah & Tom's Intimate Autumnal Loch Venachar Wedding
If you’re planning a Loch Venachar wedding, getting clear blue skies in late autumn feels like a welcome bonus. Aliyah and Tom chose the lochside venue for a quiet, scaled-back celebration surrounded by their nearest and dearest.
The entire focus of the day was keeping things simple and enjoyable. They held their service outdoors, standing right on the bank of the loch as their guests looked on in the sunshine. The setting did all the heavy lifting, giving the whole ceremony a calm, relaxed atmosphere from start to finish.
Following the ceremony, we took advantage of the dry weather and low autumn sun to explore the surrounding area for a few relaxed portraits. My aim is to keep the photographs relaxed and fun allowing the wedding couple to enjoy some time together after the ceremony. After the meal and speeches inside, I stayed on to capture their first dance before packing up the gear and leaving them to enjoy the rest of the night.
