Roman Camp Hotel Wedding Photography // Charlotte & Euan
It was fantastic to photograph Charlotte and Euan’s gorgeous wedding at the Roman Camp Hotel in Callander. The unique hotel with its pink exterior is within its own gardens and woodlands and makes a beautifully tranquil setting for weddings in the pretty town of Callander, known as the gateway to the Scottish Highlands.
The Wedding Day
I was asked to photograph Charlotte and Euan’s wedding for the full day, Coverage began with both bridal and groomsmen’s preparations, with Charlotte getting ready at the Roman Camp and Euan at Forest Hills nearby. I thoroughly enjoy these fun moments before the main event and recording all the little details which really add to the story of the day. I love to photograph mainly in a reportage style, so I can capture all the excitement of the day from the preparations, through the ceremony, right until the evening dancing in a relaxed and unobtrusively manner as possible. However, I do enjoy those moments where I steal the wedding couples away for photographs together and also an opportunity for them to enjoy a rare quiet moment during the wedding day alone together.
It was great to photograph at the Roman Camp Hotel again, work with Charlotte, Euan and all their friends and family who were all so lovely. Looking forward to photographing another wedding here again soon!
