Brittany & Nicks’ Intimate Handfast Ceremony at St Anthonys’ Chapel Ruins
We thoroughly enjoyed being the wedding photographers for Brittany and Nicks’ beautiful handfast ceremony at St Anthony Chapel ruins, Edinburgh. Traveling all the way from the States and with only close family in attendance this intimate ceremony was conducted with the city as a stunning backdrop while Brittany and Nick were on a tour of Scotland. We loved Brittanys’ gorgeous silver dress with it’s beautiful floaty skirt which then converted in to an elegant evening dress for their reception, she looked amazing. It was our first time at this unique location and the historic ruins, with their elevated position with Edinburgh and the Firth of Fourth in the background made a fantastic location.
Once the ceremony was complete Brittany, Nick and their guests made their way to Edinburgh City for a reception at the Scotch Whisky Experience. We couldn’t resist some photographs in the beautiful and ancient streets. Thank you to Brittany and Nick for being an amazing couple and we hope you had a wonderful and memorable time in Scotland. Special mention to Sara from Weddings by Sara Jane for planning a wonderful day, Tracey Montgomery from Beauty Works Scotland, Piper, Iain, Humanist Celebrant, Ken McMillan and gorgeous flowers by Lianne from Roseparks.
