A Wild & Romantic Fairy Glen elopement wedding in a Stunning Scottish Setting
We were very excited to travel to the Isle of Skye for our first elopement wedding at the stunning Fairy Glen. Amazing couple, Stacey and Iain had traveled all the way from Canada to wedd at the beautiful and remote Fairy Glen in the North of the Isle of Skye. We met Stacey and Iain at their Sconser accommodation as they prepared with Staceys’ Dad and Partner. Once ready we then made our way to the fairy Glen.
Conducting the ceremony was the fantastic celebrant Judith Hampson and there couldn’t be a better backdrop for such an occasion than the mystical Skye landscape. We then made our way to the Sligachan Hotel for some celebratory refreshments and took the opportunity to take some photographs at the beautiful old bridge there. Covering weddings in Skye is so much fun as the weather and atmosphere can be so different each time. No matter how good or bad, sunny or rainy the day is the landscape always looks amazing, atmospheric and awe inspiring.
