A Gorgeous Winter Wedderburn Castle Wedding, Duns
Wintertime Wedderburn Castle Wedding – We were so lucky to have so many amazing weddings to photograph this February, and each one completely different from the other. At the end of the month we traveled to the village of Duns in the Scottish Borders for Catherine and Richard’s beautiful and elegant wedding in the stately Wedderburn Castle.
The sun was shining as we arrived to begin our photography coverage as Catherine and Richard were completing their final preparations, a sign of the gorgeous day ahead. Once bride and groom were ready the ceremony was held in one of the castles stunning rooms flooded with beautiful light, followed by drinks and Ice Cream (from an Ice Cream Van which turned up at the door!). It was great to get out in the grounds, despite the winter chill, to make the most of the magnificent surroundings before heading in to photograph speeches and the beginning of the evening celebrations. We had a wonderful time working with Catherine and Richard and we wish them all the best for the future!
