Romantic Craigievar Castle Elopement Wedding
If you’re looking for an iconic Scottish backdrop that still feels quiet and personal, a Craigievar Castle wedding is hard to beat. Tanaeia and Kai made the trip up to Aberdeenshire in March for a fun, easy-going elopement.
The whole focus of the day was keeping things simple and lighthearted. After making things official near the castle, we took a slow stroll around the grounds to capture some candid portraits. The combination of the quirky tower house architecture and the surrounding countryside gave us plenty to work with without needing to direct or pose anything heavily.
We spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the woodland paths, keeping the mood fun and unforced. I packed up the gear later in the afternoon and left Tanaeia and Kai to enjoy the quiet of the estate.
