Jade & Aneil's Relaxed Autumn The Hermitage Elopement

For me, the best part of documenting a private elopement is the sheer lack of production. I recently joined Jade and Aneil for their The Hermitage Dunkeld Wedding in the Perthshire woods to photograph their day, and they chose a beautiful, secluded corner of the forest for the ceremony.
Because they wanted to keep everything entirely informal, my approach to Their wedding was completely straightforward. There was no directing or staging; we simply took a gentle walk through the trees after they made it official. I focused entirely on catching the natural moments between them, letting the scale of the woodland and the soft autumn light do the heavy lifting in the background.
From a photography perspective, it’s always a privilege to work with a couple intent on enjoying being in the moment. If you’re looking for a peaceful, natural setting that lets the photography happen organically, a The Hermitage Dunkeld Wedding is an excellent place to start.
