Colette & Roberts Quiet November Elopement in Breath-taking Torridon

Colette and Robert’s November elopement was a fine example of how a relaxed attitude is the best thing you can bring to a wedding in the Highlands. They chose the quiet setting of Creag na h-Iolaire Lodge for their vows, opting for an informal day that put the focus entirely on the ceremony and the scenery.
The weather gave us a traditional Scottish welcome—overcast skies and low clouds hugging the peaks—which actually makes for the best kind of soft light for portraits. My aim with the photography was simply to keep this Torridon wedding low-key, capturing the relaxed natural connection between the two of them as we strolled around the surrounding area of Creag na h-Iolaire Lodge.
It was a honour to be there to capture it all. If you are planning your own Torridon wedding and looking for a quiet retreat, Creag na h-Iolaire Lodge is an excellent place to start.
