Marine & Christophe's Laid Back Kilchurn Castle Wedding

It is always a treat when the Scottish weather decides to play ball, and Marine and Christophe’s day was an absolute masterclass in how lovely a simple elopement can be. We had about three hours together in total, which was just the perfect amount of time to capture their Kilchurn Castle wedding.
We started off with a relaxed pre-shoot over at St Conan’s Kirk, taking a gentle stroll around the unique stone architecture before heading along the lochside. The castle ruins are dramatic at the best of times, but under a golden, warm sun, it was the perfect setting for a low-key Kilchurn Castle wedding.Â
Because we kept the coverage short and sweet, the photography felt completely effortless. We simply wandered around the shoreline, taking in the views and chatting as we went.Â
