Shieldaig Lodge Wedding Photographer // Anna & Martin
In late August I had the pleasure of taking the wedding photographs of Anna and Martin’s intimate Wester Ross elopement wedding at Shieldaig Lodge. Just outside of the village of Gairloch, this northwest area of the Scottish Highlands is breathtakingly dramatic. With both beautiful coastal scenery and spectacular mountain landscapes, it is perfect for an intimate runaway wedding for two!
Anna and Martin selected my elopement and small wedding photography package, ideal for those having a smaller wedding and looking for shorter coverage. The last time I visited Wester Ross the weather was typically Scottish, with rain and wind, this time we were rewarded with gorgeous sunshine! With the weather so beautiful, Anna and Martin chose to have their ceremony on the front lawn of Shieldaig Lodge, with lovely views of the sea, before going further afield for photographs. We visited the beautiful Shore by Shieldaig Lodge, The foot of epic mountain Slioch, the golden sands of Gairloch Beach, and the tranquil Loch Maree. It was such a great day, Anna and Martin were so lovely and it was brilliant to be out in the stunning Scottish Landscape.!
