All Seasons in One Day: A Late Summer Wedding on Isle of Skye
I recently had the pleasure of documenting Lou and Martin’s intimate elopement on a stunning beach on the Isle of Skye. If you’re planning a wedding on Isle of Skye, you have to be ready for the elements, and this late summer day delivered a bit of everything. From sun-drenched moments on the sand to windswept cliffs and sudden rain, it was a beautiful whirlwind.
The couple wanted something quiet and informal, focusing on the natural beauty of the island. Having their Scottie dog there made it even more special; he really looked the part against the rugged Scottish backdrop. Despite the changing weather, Lou and Martin never lost their smiles. They embraced the wildness of the day, which allowed us to capture some truly unique, natural shots that reflected the real spirit of the Highlands.
A wedding on Isle of Skye is always an adventure, and this day was no exception. The mix of light and shadow created by the passing clouds provided a stunning gallery of images. It was a privilege to be part of such an intimate and joyful day!
